At this meeting we will:
- Learn about the history of the World Social Forum and how Philadelphia can join this as a movement building process.
- Connect with community groups/organizations around Philadelphia
- Develop a plan for our participation in the US Social Forum in Detroit
- Share resources and brainstorm logistics for getting us all to Detroit
Come to the session to see how we can link up and build a Philadelphia that works for everyone.
What is the US Social Forum?
The US Social Forum is a movement-building process to build a powerful multi-racial, multi-sector, inter-generational, diverse, inclusive, internationalist movement that transforms this country and changes history. It is schedule for June 22-26, 2010 in Detroit, Michigan.
