Hey dears and Lava,
Love you all but I've just relocated to California and am trying to clean
up my email. Can you remove me from this list? Thanks. Best to all of you,
see you in the winter when I come back to visit!

> just one day a month.

> particularly busy ($1 Books are on the bottom shelf of the bookshelf by
> the basement door). Corina will work on recruiting new staffers and
> possibly looking for places to advertise our need for staffers. Everyone
> involved in the LAVA Library should try to get their friends who might

'To the extent ... whites are rewarding [Obama] in large measure for not
talking about race, and to the extent they would abandon him in droves
were he to begin talking much about racismfor he would be seen at that
point as playing the race card, or appealing to special interests and
suffer the consequenceswe should view Obamas success, given what has
been required to make it possible, as confirmation of the ongoing salience
of race in American life.'
