We are an all-volunteer group of individuals and grassroots organizations committed to resisting oppression and transforming society by creating an open, respectfully run and cooperatively managed community space at 4134 Lancaster Avenue. We are driven by a vision of a world where people of all races, genders, and backgrounds can learn from and support one another across the boundaries our current system creates. We want 4134 to further that vision by providing shared space for meetings, meals, computers & copiers; a home for collectively owned resources for media, arts, construction, and community activism. We hope that the space will serve as an incubator, an open door, and a launch pad for the ideas & skills that we need to transform our world.
